Agreement & Tuition

By providing us with your details on the registration form and signing it, you enter into an agreement for an indefinite period of time for membership at The Little Gym Amsterdam. You hereby authorize us to collect the tuition owed for the agreement automatically (monthly) from the bank account number you specified. For new members, a one-time registration fee will be charged upon registration. The registration fee is non-refundable. We may change our rates and if we do, we inform our customers at least 30 days before a rate change takes effect. The Little Gym Amsterdam follows the Region North school calendar. When school is in session, a weekly The Little Gym class is offered. When school is out, we provide alternative activities like practice time and tumble and tea.

Make-Up Policy

Classes canceled due to illness may be made up within three months and while your child is a member at The Little Gym Amsterdam, provided that there is availability. Notification must be received no later than 9.30 AM on the day of the class for you to be entitled to a make-up class. A message on our machine or an email suffices. No make-ups are possible for non-class events that are offered during school holidays.

Force Majeure

The Little Gym Amsterdam reserves the right to cancel classes, camps or birthday parties due to the occurrence of an unforeseeable event i.e. government lockdown, restricted access to The Little Gym facility etc. In case such a Force Majeure occurs, we will replace face to face activities normally taking place at the gym with an online offering. If The Little Gym activities move online our standard terms and conditions apply.

Notice & Refunds

We require a full calendar month notice in writing if you wish to end your membership at any point. Membership fees and unused banked classes are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, such as injury, accounts may be frozen for a maximum of 12 months or funds may be used for other purchases. Refunds will be calculated net of any discounts given. Registration fees are non-refundable and will not be prorated. No refunds will be given for services that have taken place in the past. Birthday party down payments are non-refundable.

Personal Data Protection

The Little Gym Amsterdam attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data (and that your privacy is respected). We do everything to ensure your privacy and therefore handle personal data with care. The Little Gym Amsterdam complies in all cases with the applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation. All your personal data can be requested and adjusted at any time by sending a request, with proof of your identity, to The Little Gym Amsterdam, Henkenshage 4, 1083 BX in Amsterdam or amsterdam@thelittlegym.eu.

Policies

Clothing

Children should wear comfortable clothing and must be barefoot to maximize safety and freedom. Jewelry, drinks, food and chewing gum are not permitted in the gym. Adults entering the gym are asked to remove their shoes (adults may wear socks). The Little Gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Class Observation

Parents/caretaker, siblings and guests are always welcome to observe classes from the lobby. Siblings are not permitted to participate in class activities unless they are enrolled in that class.

Responsibilities

We make every reasonable effort to ensure the safety of children in the gym and while they are in the lobby. Parents or guardians are ultimately responsible for seeing the safe entry and exit of their children.

Behavioural Issues

If a child is being disruptive, destructive, or dangerous to themselves, other children, or staff members during class or special events, we will make every effort to work with parents/caretaker and the child in question to resolve this behavior. If the behavior persists or other undesired behaviors develop, the child in question will be asked to take a break from the class or event.

Photo and video recording

In the interest of child protection and with respect for your fellow members’ privacy, we must insist that anyone wishing to take photographs or videos of their children in our facility gain permission of all of the other parents/caretakers present in the facility. No photos and videos taken in The Little Gym should be published on public platforms such as social media and the Internet.
